3-in-1 Waikiki Cruise: Fireworks, Snorkel & Sunset Fridays Only

What time do the Waikiki fireworks start?
The Hilton Hawaiian Village Friday Night Fireworks show begins at approximately 7:45 PM in winter and 8:00 PM in summer. The show lasts about 5-7 minutes. Our 3-in-1 cruise departs at 5:00 PM so we can fit in snorkeling, sunset, and a perfect on-the-water position for the fireworks all in one evening.

Where do the Waikiki fireworks launch from?
The fireworks are launched from the lagoon area of the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort, every Friday evening. From the water on our catamaran, you'll have an unobstructed view that the beach crowds simply can't match, no heads in the way, no rushed parking, no shoulder-to-shoulder seating.

How long is the 3-in-1 cruise?
The full 3-in-1 (Snorkel + Sunset + Fireworks) Cruise is 3 hours total: snorkel at a reef site, cruise the Waikiki coastline at golden hour, and view the fireworks show from the water. Departure is 5:00 PM and return is approximately 8:00 PM (slightly later in summer when fireworks are later).

What if the fireworks are canceled?
On rare occasions the Hilton Hawaiian Village may cancel the show due to weather, mechanical issues, or other events. If the fireworks are canceled before our cruise departs, we'll contact you to reschedule or refund. If the cruise has already started and fireworks are canceled mid-trip, you'll still enjoy the snorkel and sunset portions, we are not able to refund the fireworks portion in that scenario, since the experience and operational costs have already been delivered.

Do we need to BYOB or is alcohol included?
BYOB is welcome for guests 21+ during the sunset and fireworks portions of the cruise (not during the snorkel session, for safety). Bring beer, wine, or cocktails. We provide a cooler with ice plus complimentary soft drinks and water throughout the tour.

Is the 3-in-1 cruise good for kids?
Yes, and it's one of the most memorable evenings for families. Kids love the snorkel session, the sunset is a fun in-between break, and watching fireworks from the water is something they'll talk about for years. Just note that the tour ends around 8 PM, which may be late for very young children. Bring snacks and a light jacket for after dark.

What snorkel gear is included?
All gear is included: mask, snorkel, fins, life vests, and flotation devices. We sanitize equipment between tours. You're welcome to bring your own gear if you prefer.

Can we book the fireworks cruise on a non-Friday?
The fireworks show only happens on Friday evenings, so the 3-in-1 cruise runs Fridays only. If you'd like the snorkel + sunset portion on a different day, book our regular Sunset Cruise with the snorkel add-on ($20/person). Same boat, same crew, just no fireworks finale.
 
How early do I need to book?
Friday fireworks cruises are our most popular booking and frequently sell out 3-4 weeks in advance. During peak travel seasons (December-April, June-August), we recommend booking 4-6 weeks ahead. Last-minute availability sometimes opens up due to cancellations, call (808) 451-6010 to check.

Can we customize the 3-in-1 cruise?
​Within the structure (snorkel + sunset + fireworks all happen on a Friday timeline), we can adjust where we snorkel, extend the duration, arrange catering through The Aloha Culinary Group, or add proposal/celebration touches. Mention any special requests when you book.
